Background Information:

In addition to advertising, we solicited bids from Townsend Systems, Volunteer Systems, Innovation Wireless, and Edutech for the purchase and installation of a clock system for South Fulton Middle/High School. We received bids as follows:

Townsend Systems                            $ 14,444.00
Volunteer Systems                             $ 15,144.00
Edutech                                             $ 18,500.00
Innovation Wireless                   No Bid Submitted

The purchase and installation of the clock system was requested during the budget planning process for the current fiscal year and is included in the FY09 budget as approved by the Board.

Staff Recommendation:

I recommend approval of the low bid submitted by Townsend Systems in the amount of $14,444.
